A new political group ,Super Speed Support Mobilization Movement (SUPEM), has called on Nigerians to unite and vote out the All Peoples Congress(APC).
The political association, aka The Blue Green Team for 2019, said President Mohammadu Buhari, who may still be the presidential candidate of APC in 2019 ,has contributed his possible best and has nothing to offer again.
The group said it was time ,president Buhari should give way to a more dynamic and result oriented person with the vision to transform the country’s economy .
Coordinator SUPEM,Hon. Henry Koka in an interview with Daily Sun said ,:”Our group is an association of eggheads who came together to form political allegiance with the intention of voting in a credible person to lead the country. As you can see ,the country is facing serious challenges. We have serious challenges in security, economy and leadership and we need to change the narratives.
” We have come together to liase with any credible political party that presents a credible leader.We are going to work with the party by mobilizing human resources for the party and its leadership. We have branches in the 36 States of the federation, including Federal Capital Territory. It is a political movement with serious minded persons. Our number has increased drastically because people are tired of the political leadership in the country as it is now.
” Companies are closing shops,the rate of unemployment is Scarry and the rate of hardship is hitting too much .We are interested in the person that will transform the economy so that Nigerians will enjoy the natural resources that we are endowed with .
” We don’t have a political party in mind that we want to support, but we will look out for the best candidate and work with the party that presents him.We can work with any other party except APC .We havs studied APC and we have seen that it has nothing to offer .We know that it is still the same President Buhari that has contributed all he has and should be resting at home that will still be presented come 2019.He has tried his best and he should allow vibrant ,young and dynamic person to take over the mantle of leadership.
” All hands must be on the deck to support us in the massive mobilization of people to vote in a leader that will salvage Nigeria from economic and political mess.Age is actually no barrier to join the movement.
” We want to advise the youths to embrace the genuine ideology of this new group.Join us to vote out those who are not qualified to lead us.I want to advise the youths who have the interest of the country at heart ,to join us and make sure they have their PVC ready.Then join our group our vibrant movement to vote in a cridible leader.
” When a party present a candidate,we are going to investigate to make sure that we don’t vote in a criminal .We are going to support people with good character and vision and sound mission .We want this country to compete with other countries of the word that is economically and politically vibrant.he concluded.
