Real stars Boss Garba Lawal Chindo has stated that his side is ready for the competition ahead of next week’s commencement date for the nation’s second tier league with fresh draws to be conducted this evening in Abuja.
The NFF football committee redirected that the initial 4 groups format be changed to 8 groups format to aid the speedy completion of the NNL regular season.
Lawal speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said his side have been training before now and have only been waiting for the NNL to start. He further added that he has crop of talented youngsters who are ready to get the job done.
“We have been fantastic training week in week out and only waiting for the NNL to start. We are ready as usual. Before the NNL started last year, nobody expected us to play up till the Super 8 buy we surprised everybody. So we have to gain promotion this coming season.”
Real stars will be out to go a step further than the achievement of last season where they only failed to achieve promotion at the Super 8 playoffs in Ana.
