A 38 man contingent of Rivers United have touched down in Johannesburg South Africa ahead of CAF Confederation Cup first round tie on Wednesday against Bloemfontein Celtic.
The Air Peace fight touched down at the Johannesburg airport at 10:24am
The delegation is led by the Commissioner for Sports in Rivers State Honorable Boma Iyaye.
The match will be played at the Dr. Petrus Molemela Stadium, while the reverse fixture will hold in Port Harcourt on 6th January 2021.
The Stanley Eguma’s side will be hoping to get good results in both matches in order to seal passage to the lucrative group stage of the competition.
