Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has expressed his delight after seeing his side overcome Tunisia to win the third-place final on Wednesday Night.
Rohr told Cornerstonenewsng.comcorrespondent in Egypt after the game that his team deserves the bronze medal after all the effort put in by the players and his coaching team.
The Franco-German tactician said it is good that the boys will be going home with a medal as a form of motivation for future tournaments.
”We deserve this bronze medal, we would have prefer to bring back the gold medal but we ran out of luck in the game against the Algerians.”
The former German player is expected to reveal his future plans after the 2019 African Cup of Nations.
