General overseer, Greater Liberation City Church (GLC), Ojodu, Lagos, Pastor Chris Okafor, has condemned the proposed Fulani vigilance move in the South East by Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, describing it as demonic. Okafor, during an interview with Daily Sun in the Church auditorium, after the end of a three-day church program titled, ‘Two nights with the King’, warned governors of the South East and the people of the states to resist the move as it was a way of Islamising and enslaving the people. He said the proposal was “demonic and satanic style to take over the country and to Islamize the people. That is the stack truth.
One day the herdsmen will just take over a community and install an Emir and the government will always give them the backing, but it will not stand and it will not work in the name of Jesus, the all knowing and all seeing. “I have said it over and over again that it is a ploy to infiltrate the people; it is a demonic and satanic way to take over the country, but it will not work. We have our people, we know our terrain better, and you cannot guide my house than I do. If we truly need more hands in securing our land, the people are asking for State police. “How can you get a herdsman who is not part of your community, who does not believe in what you believe, to come and secure you? It shows they are up to something and the people in power are supporting this wicked move. We are no kids, we know their plans, but we will resist and reject it.
“Nigerians need to pray and defend their territory because the way it is going and the way they are throwing it to the face of the people is a serious afront and if we keep quiet, we don’t know what they will do next. We are saying this because of the interest of our children. Some of us have lived more than half of our years on earth, but we see the danger, we see our children becoming slaves and this we must resist.
“Do not be surprised that this country may divide because of these plans to Islamise Nigeria if we don’t do something urgently. “ The evil agenda will not stand, not in my own time. The Kaduna State governor is doing a test-run to see how it will work and if it works in Kaduna State, other states will follow as long they are in the same political party so that they can retain power.
“We said it will not stand but he still passed the law but the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, went to court and it was overturned. Islamisation of Nigeria will not stand as long as we have God. “If people are afraid to say it, we are not afraid, we have been speaking and nothing will happen as long as Nigeria belongs to all of us. “These people have been seriously empowered, and if you proscribed some set of people who have never killed or have not recorded violence like the Indigenous People of Biafra ( IPOB), and you allow a group to carry arms, kidnap people and rape women, there is something wrong. “There are rumors making round that the government wants to give herdsmen 100 billion nairas to float a radio station, all these will not stand.
That is why we are praying that the righteous will sit on the throne and it is then, that the people will rejoice. God owns Nigeria and the righteous will sit on the throne, Nigeria is a circular nation and not an Islamic nation” He stated. He, however, called on Christian leaders all over the country to be united and pray together against the planned total extermination of Christianity: ” The problem of Christianity is that we are not united. Many of us are busy building their own empires, forgetting that they are shepherds commissioned to guide the flocks. Most of us are interested in making money and do not care about the suffering masses.
Let us unite and fight the common enemies, islamisation of Nigeria and herdsmen attack our people “. Earlier, Ghanian preacher, William Duncan has called on Christians, especially men of God not to concentrate on the church congregation, but to go out and look for the lost just like Jesus did. He also warned those speaking and deceiving people against tithe to desist as it was God’s instruction to avoid devourer.
” Tithe is not paid to the mother fewer baby homes, but in the altar of God. Bring your tithe to the house of God, so that you may prosper. The issue of tithe has been settled by both the old and new testaments. There is no argument about it. Bring your tithe to the house of God. Those who are arguing about where to pay their tithes should read their Bibles very well”,
he noted.
