Sadiq Umar grabs hattrick in Partizan win over FK Javor

Nigerian forward, Sadiq Umar was in top form for his club Partizan Belgrade in their league meeting FK Javor in the Serbian top division league match played on Friday night.

 

The 2014 Rio Olympic star grabbed the headline once more as he scored a hattrick in his side’s 6-2 to leave the pitch with the matchday ball.

 

Sodiq scored the second goal of the night to bring Partizan Belgrade back on a level term in the 9th minute of the game after FK Javor had gone ahead through Nikola Petkovic in the second minute of the encounter.

 

Partizan went ahead a few minutes later through Bojan Ostojic’s header from close range before Sodiq increased his tally to two goals eight minutes before half time.

 

Partizan out the game beyond the visitors when Nemanja Miletic made it to 4-1 in the 40th minute.

 

FK Javor reduced the deficit minutes later as Alija Krnic scored to make it reduced 4-2 as the first half came to an end.

 

Umar completed his hat-trick a minute before the hour mark of the game to make it 5-2 and restored the three goals advantage.

 

Filip Stevanovic completed the rout in Belgrade in the 78th minutes.

 

Sodiq Umar has now scored 10 goals in 14 games which put him on the scorer chat as the best goal king presently in Serbia.
