Former Super Eagles defender Sam Sodje had described William Troost Ekong’s move from Udinese at the Italian league to Watford, a championship side in England as a very good one.

In an exclusive chat with Cornerstonenewsng.comSodje stated that the competitive difference between the Championship and the Italian Serie A is not really much.
”I don’t think Ekong move from Udinese to Watford is a bad move, people keep thinking about the championship in England as a lower league but it is a very high standard league,” Sodje said.
”I think as a player,fitness-wise and how fit and ready he will be for the national team will amaze a lot of people, I don’t think the move is a bad one at all, I think the championship has a very good standard.”
