Ahead of the crunch tie with Salitas of Burkina Faso in the CAF Confederations Cup, Enugu Rangers have received a positive news on injured duo of Ifeayin George and Pape Ousmane Sane.
Sane and George along with Bobby Clement and Semiu Liadi(suspension) missed the home defeat to Etoile Sahel on Sunday but reports obtained by www.brila.net have it that the players are back in training for tie against Salitas of Burkina Faso scheduled next Sunday in Ouagadougou.
While other players are recovering in time for the game, Liadi who was suspended for the last game due to accumulation of double yellow card is available for selection again and he’s expected to play a part in the game.
In the absence of Clement, Coach Gbenga Ogunbote is expected to stick with Bright Silas and Michael Uchebo in the attack for the game.
Enugu Rangers sits third in the CAF Confederation Cup Group B with four points from four games, and a win is needed in Ouagadougou if they are keep hope of qualifying for the quarter-final stage alive.
