There’s a huge mural of Super Falcons forward Asisat Oshoala adorning the walled fence of the football ground pitch “where it all started”.
Oshoala, who honed her skills with Nigeria NWPFL side FC Robo, is ever excited to share the memories of her formative years as a nascent footballer in a country with a rich history in women’s football.
On Sunday, the 24 year-old shared pictures of the Mural on her Instagram page with caption:
St. Jude’s field, where it all started, the very place where THE DREAM BEGAN with FC ROBO……my very own San Siro HAHAHA….

On Monday, Asisat will hope to lead Nigeria out on a potentially historic night at the FIFA Women’s World Cup, when the team faces France, as the African champions seeks to reach the second round of the competition for the second time in their history.
