An old man, Obi Nwoda died Saturday evening at Desire Hotel and Resort, Awka, Anambra State during a sex romp with his girlfriend, Ifeoma Ayinka.
It was gathered that the 65 -year – the old man had lodged in the hotel for three days, and had brought in different girls, before the turn of Ifeoma on the third day.
Trouble, however, started at about 5 pm on the fateful Saturday, when Ifeoma 33, attempted to leave the hotel without the man.
It was gathered that a hotel staff who suspected a foul play stopped Ifeoma and ordered her to go back to the room and on getting to the room, the man was found lying unconscious on the bed.
The Police were invited to the scene and the man was rushed to the hospital where he was confirmed dead.
A staff of the hotel said:”
The lady told us that the man collapsed while making love to her. She said the man may have taken Viagra as he did not come on time. That she advised the man to have a rest, but the man kept begging that he needed more rounds of sex. She said the man was few minutes on her when she started gasping for breath and collapsed and died ”
Police Public Relations Officer for Anambra State Police Command, SP Haruna Mohammed said there was a report of a sudden and unnatural death in the said hotel.
He said, “On Saturday at about 8:15 pm, there was a report by the management of Desires and Leisure Hotel, Agu Awka at B’ Division that on the same date at about 5: pm, one Ifeoma of Agu Ukwu in Aniocha LGA who came to Lodge in the hotel with One Obi Nwoda 65 of the same address was leaving the hotel premises without the said man. When confronted and taken back to the hotel room, the man was lying unconscious on the bed.
He said upon receipt of the complaint, the scene of the incident was visited by Police Patrol team attached to B’ division led by CSP Odion Ekeinde, and the victim was rushed to Apex hospital Awka, where he was confirmed dead on arrival by the medical Doctor on duty.
“The suspect alleged that the victim collapsed while making love to her. She was subsequently arrested and the case is under investigation to ascertain the circumstances surrounding the incident “
