Coach of Nigeria women Basketball league Champion Air warriors Samson Sotiminu has rued the inability of his side to get ready in time to honour the Africa women club championship starting today in Egypt after it was eventually confirmed that the team will be missing at the championship.
Sotiminu speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said it is a very painful experience been his first time of actually getting to the point of leading a team on the continent and eventually missing out on the ground of fund and other administrative issues regarding the full clearance of players eligibility to feature at the club championship.
“The problem is not really the financial problem now even though we have the money now and ready, some of the players are not ready.
In fact, it is very painful because this is my first appearance, my first experience and I won’t be able to lead the team. But I don’t know what God is trying to bring to the table for me.”
