The newly-appointed Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Lagos State police command, SP Muyiwa Adejobi has resumed duty.
Adejobi took over from SP Bala Elkana, after a brief ceremony at the PPRO office, Oduduwa Street, GRA, Ikeja where Elkana briefed his successor on the general happenings in the state and performed the handling/taking over the event .
In a statement by Adejobi, he assured the general public of,” his commitment to duties and responsiveness to issues that can promote effective policing, protection of human rights and sustainability of justice across the board in the state, In line with the policing agenda of the Commissioner of Police Lagos State.

Meanwhile, Elkana has been commended by the police management team, Journalists, and the members of the public for performing creditably well during his tenure as the PPRO.
