Minister of Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare has thanked God Almighty and all agencies who played various roles for the release of Madam Beauty Siasia, mother of former Super Eagles coach, Samson Siaisa from kidnappers captivity.
Madam Siasia, aged 76 years was on July 15, 2019, kidnapped by unknown gunmen from her family home in Bayelsa State at about 2 am.
Since that fateful day, the aged mother has been in the captivity of her abductors but was released on Sunday, September 29.
Reacting to her release, the minister thanked God, the creator for her life and adding that he got in touch with Siasia who told him that they were in church for service.
“We thank God and all the agencies involved in the release of the mother of Samson Siasia’s mother from the kidnappers’ den.
“I got in touch with SiaSia and he is currently in the church for Sunday service,” the minister said in a tweet he made by 12:43 pm on Sunday.
