Super Eagles 2014 World Cup Star Uchebo set to join Rangers

Michael Uchebo has been linked with a potential return to Nigeria professional football league side Enugu Rangers, nine years after quitting the club for VVV Venlo in Dutch league .

Uchebo who has represented Nigeria at the U20 and U23 level is believed to have reach agreement for personal terms with the Aiteo Cup winners , and a deal could signed and announced as in coming days.

The 28-year old forward has struggled to keep his career on the right track since moving to Europe with the recent problem he had withPortuguese side Boavista, where he was frozen out of the team and wasn’t paid for months, having joined the the Club back in 2014 from Belgian club Cercle Bruge before he was released in June 2017.

Apart from the 2014 World Cup star, who is keen to resurrect his career again ,Rangers has been linked with Ifeanyi Ubah’s Pascal Seka and Tony Msonter.

 

Uche John is also a target after opted against extending his contract with Enyimba.
