Super Eagles defender, William Troost-Ekong has expressed his happiness after he switched to the Italian Serie A from the Turkish Super League.
Ekong a few days ago moved from the Turkish side Bursaspor to Serie A side Udinese, on a deal that is worth 3.3 million Euros.
Despite, making his debut against Parma in the opening match of the season, the energetic defender was presented on Thursday alongside 3 other new players.
The Former KAA Gent player was excited at the presentation ceremony, where he also expressed his willingness to learn the Italian language.
“I am very happy to be in a reality like Udinese and in an important championship like Serie A. I hope to speak Italian as soon as possible,” he told the club website.
Ekong became the third Nigerian player to play for Udinese after Christian Obodo and Odion Ighalo played for the club in the past.
