Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong has promised that he and his teammates will continue to work hard ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia after their friendlies with Poland and Serbia, Completesportsnigeria.com reports.
The Super Eagles rounded off their international friendly games this month with a 2-0 defeat to Serbia on Tuesday in London.
Two second-half strikes from Aleksandar Mitrovic earned the World Cup-bound Serbians the deserved win.
However, last Friday the Eagles pipped Poland 1-0 in Wroclaw thanks to a Victor Moses penalty.
“End of a good camp with the Super Eagles. We keep working and improving. Thanks everyone for your support,” Troost-Ekong wrote on Twitter on Wednesday.
