U-18 handball team captain happy with team’s progress

Having secured a berth to the next phase of qualifiers for the International Handball Championship Challenge, Nigeria’s U-18 women’s team skipper, Oluwatoyin Yusuf has expressed delight that Nigeria scaled the first stage.
Speaking with brila.net, Toyin stated that the players were delighted to have qualified for the next phase in Rwanda and are now looking forward to preparations for the trip in June.
“We are very delighted with the win. We played the host nation Niger and as expected it was a tough one. This win now qualifies us to play the next phase in Rwanda in June/July. We are happy that we picked this slot to be able to play in Rwanda. We are hopeful for more success when the time comes in Rwanda”, she stated.
