Captain of Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles team Mfon Udoh has stated that he hopes to make a huge difference for Nigeria ahead of the commencement of the WAFU cup of nations which starts this weekend in Senegal.
Udoh speaking in a chat with brila.net said having missed out on the last two CHAN tournament as well as the last edition of the WAFU nations cup in Ghana due to injury and sickness respectively, he hopes to make the most of the opportunity to play his first tournament football for Nigeria.
“It’s been a very disappointing past years I must confess, I have always been in the team but wouldn’t just make the team for one reason or another. But right this particular year by God special grace I will make it to the tournament and I’m going to try as much as possible to make a huge difference in this tournament. “
