UEFA will give Eredivisie Teams UCL and UEL Titles this season

Eredivisie’s Big Three, Ajax, Feyenoord and PSV are on the verge of a landmark agreement that dwarfs the Biggest sides in Germany, Spain and France put together.

The Big Three, collectively have won 70 out of the 127 Dutch Football Championships and are also collectively wealthier than the rest of the Eredivisie.

Recently, news emerged that the Three are close to agreeing a deal that’ll see them contribute 10% of their earnings from the Champions League and Europa League to the rest of the top flight with the intention of improving the overall standard of Dutch football.

News of that contract emerged on Wednesday and was confirmed by several outlets including former Ajax and Dutch International Mario Melchiot.

He confirmed the story via social media:

Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord are planning to distribute their UCL earnings around all Eredivisie clubs to raise the level of the whole league #mmlove

Dutch Journalist Mootaz Chehade also tweeted and validated the purpose of the Big Three’s gesture:

PSV, Ajax and Feyenoord have agreed to give a share of their earnings from the Champions League and Europa Leavue earnings to all the other Eredivisie clubs to help develop the league and take it up another level.

The Dutch national side have failed to qualify for the last two international tournaments, with this agreement seen as a way of attempting to halt the decline.
