Ugbade wants more development for youth players

Former Assistant Coach of the Flying Eagles, Nduka Ugbade, has called for the implementation of programmes that would help to develop young football players.

Ugbade commended the NFF for their efforts in ensuring the young players develop in a chat with www.Cornerstonenewsng.comwhile hoping the trend continues to ensure the country produces world class players from a young age.

He said that every game could thrive only if it had a strong foundation.

“The issue here is that there must be an improvement on administration and youth development as well, your search for the young players and then you develop and nurture them so it will be good to showcase at the end of the day, which the NFF has been doing”

“Also the development of players who are U17 and U18 and can feature in the league, that is the NPFL, is making sure such come to fruition to the improvement of players which for they allow players to feature in the league for at least 15 to 20 minutes”, he concluded.
