Former D’Tigers Power Forward and 2006 NBA Draft pick, Ejike Ugboaja has hinted his next project will be to encourage the NFL to invest in Nigeria.
The American Football governing unlike it’s basketball counterpart don’t have a wide outreach outside the US and Nigeria could be a viable breeding ground Ugboaja opined.
Recently, coaches from the Southern Methodist University in Dallas were in Nigeria for a three-day camp exercise.
In a chat with brila.net he “We’re trying to see if we can get the NFL can come to Nigeria.
In our mind, we want to see how Nigeria can grow into something new and different, and to show our people different stuff.
With the NFL in the US, they can have their presence in Nigeria too, and we want to bring them here to help our kids.”
