Nigeria international goalkeeper Francis Odinaka Uzoho was sent off in the 23rd minute despite ending up on the winning side for his Cyprus club, Anorthosis Famagusta.
The dismissal was the first expulsion of Uzoho’s young career.
The 20-year-old goalie will now miss the next three games against Ermis Aradippou, Enosis Paralimni and Pafos FC.
Despite his sending off, Anorthosis won the encounter 3-0 at home against Alki Oroklinis in a relegation play-off clash.
