Uzoho’s injury stalled Otabor’s Super Eagles debut, but the CSKA Sofia midfielder remains Positive

Viv Solomon-Otabor returned to the national team set up but was on the Super Eagles bench the entire duration of the game as Nigeria and Brazil settled for a 1-1 result in Sunday’s international friendly.

Solomon-Otabor was denied the moment of getting minutes against the five-time world champions after Goalkeeper Francis Uzoho got injured.

“It’s an unfortunate injury for the goalkeeper, hopefully he’ll return better and everybody will know his quality,” he told www.brila.net.

The midfielder recalls a “great experience” with the rest of the team during the tour of Singapore and was given assurances by the Coach.

“It was a good experience and a dream come true, obviously I knew some players from London. We have a great team and very good Manager.

“He was very happy with how I trained he was happy and just asked me to keep working hard hard, He was impressed and if there’s another opportunity I’ll get my chance,” said the CSKA Sofia player.
