Victor Moses won’t play for Lampard’s Chelsea because of Clause in Nigerian’s Contract

The long awaited announcement of Frank Lampard as Chelsea’s new Manager was eventually made on Thursday and swiftly the Boss made it clear how he would set out… nothing that concerns Victor Moses though.

Moses and Lampard were teammates in 2012 when the Nigerian joined the club and both went on to win the Europa League, but they won’t be reunited.

The Nigerian left Chelsea for the fourth time on loan away from the club, joining Super Lig side Fenerbahçe.

Details have however emerged why the 28 year-old will not return to play for Chelsea after he signed a one and a half year loan deal with Sarı Lacivertliler.

Per Emre Sarigul [Turkish Football], The Blues do have the option to recall Moses but only to sell him to another club. Chelsea would be unable to play the winger next season if he were to return to Stamford Bridge.

In an interview with Fanatik, a Turkish Sports outlet  regarding his future, Moses said: “I will be wearing a Fenerbahce shirt next season. I am not thinking of leaving this summer.”
