We aim to beat Algeria in semis – Ighalo

Super Eagles striker, Jude Odion Ighalo has submitted ahead of the big semifinal clash between Nigeria and Algeria at the ongoing AFCON, Egypt 2019.

Super Eagles’ technical adviser Gernot Rohr also charged his wards to be focused and fully committed to the task at hand as they countenance another tough session on Sunday night at the Cairo International Stadium.

 

Speaking with brila.net, Ighalo admitted that the match wouldn’t be an easy one, but added that the Eagles have the better chance.

 

“For me to work hard and give my best to make sure we win the game, I know it won’t be easy but if we work hard together as one, I think as have the chance to win that game by God’s grace”.

 

“But football is not the way you see it, however, we need to work hard, to give our best”.
