We Keep fighting till the end! Ahmed Musa vows after semi-final defeat

Ahmed Musa has reached out to fans following Nigeria’s 2-1 semi-final defeat to Algeria, and has vowed the Eagles will bounce back.

The Super Eagles lost to an Algeria side inspired by their captain, Riyad Mahrez, who struck a late winner to break Nigerian hearts inside the Cairo International stadium and world over.

Musa tweeted, the morning after the game, extend gratitude to the fans and recalling the disappointing outcome of the game.

This is to say a massive thank you to all our supporters & well wishers during this journey. Not the result we wanted but we gave it our best shot. We keep fighting till the end. Proud of you mates,” the Eagles captain tweeted.

The 2013 AFCON winners will next face Tunisia in the third-placed play-off match on 17 July at the Al Salam Stadium.
