“We’re Hungry To Beat Manchester United,” Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi Claims

Wilfred Ndidi has stated that Leicester City is determined to take all three points against Manchester United in their Premier League match later today.

Leicester City are winless in the Premier League after four games and sit at the bottom of the table with just one point. Ndidi has appeared in all four games so far.

The Nigerian international is optimistic his side can get a positive result against Manchester United today and is counting on home support to motivate the players.

“We have to look forward to it; we have to get something out of it and we have to believe in ourselves,” Ndidi told the Foxes’ website ahead of the game at the 32,0000-seater King Power Stadium.

“Every game is not easy in the Premier League. I am expecting a very, very difficult game because they’ve got the confidence now. The first win would be a massive win because we’re hungry for it.

“That would give us more confidence going forward. We know what we have to do though and if we could that would be very good for us.

“The fans will be there to cheer us on and will be there to see us give our all. When it comes to supporting us, I think the fans are brilliant. I am hoping for a very positive atmosphere and that would help us for sure.”

Ndidi was sidelined for the final few months of the 2021-22 season due to injury. The 25-year-old has spoken out about his experience.

“It was a difficult time. I just tried to keep my head down, be positive and work myself back into playing – and here we are. I’m really, really happy and it’s just me appreciating time and appreciating the game,” he added
