Eden Hazard has revealed that he has made a decision on his Chelsea future amid prolonged interest from Real Madrid – although did not expand on what it might be.
The Belgium international was strongly linked with a transfer away from Stamford Bridge after last summer’s World Cup and has said that a move to the Spanish capital would be a “dream”.
Although no deal materialized, the 28-year-old knuckled down and has been in impressive for Chelsea despite their indifferent season under Maurizio Sarri, registering 12 goals and 10 assists in 24 Premier League games.
‘I have decided’
However, his latest comments leave a question mark over whether the Italian manager will be able to build the team around his star player or whether he will need to look elsewhere this summer.
“I know what I’m going to do,” Hazard said in an RMC documentary scheduled to be aired in France on Wednesday evening. “I have decided.”
