Sunshine Stars player, Seun Sogbeso has revealed that he made a switch to the Owena Babes just to reunite with his former coach, Kabir Dogo Suleiman.
Making this revelation in a chat with brila.net, Sogbeso stated that he had several offers during the transfer window but when he got a call from coach Dogo, he had to make the move fast as his aim is to help the team get a continental spot.
“I actually joined Sunshine Stars because of Coach Kabir Dogo. I had a lot of offers, however, when he called me I had no other option but to join him here.
“My aim in the team this season is to try and help the team qualify as one of the three clubs to play super 6 and then qualify for continental football.”
Sogbeso has played a key role in Sunshine Stars’ campaign in the NPFL this season as they are second in Group A.
