The Akure based side bounced back from a 1-0 defeat against Bayelsa Queens to stun Rivers Angel 2-0 and finish third and it was all down to being clinical in front of goal according to the Coach.
Wemimo told brila.net she had confidence the team would shake off the semi-final defeat that was largely due to their inability to create and convert their chances.
The Owena Mermaids played the game of their lives in the classification game and overran a Rivers Angels despite their spirited fight.
