Super Eagles Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr has fresh worries ahead of Eagles clash with South Africa following the news of a likely Samuel Kalu injury.
Regional newspaper Sud Ouest reported this afternoon that the Nigeria international did not participate in Bordeaux training session on Thursday as a result of illness.
The number ten is now expected to undergo a late fitness test ahead of Saturday’s Ligue 1 clash against Olympique Lyonnais.
Kalu has eleven days to fully recover from his ailment before reporting for international duty on November 12.
The former Gent star is seen by manager Gernot Rohr as a direct replacement for retired Chelsea star Victor Moses and has started the last three competitive matches played by the Super Eagles
