YAKUBU in Flying Eagles camp to train strikers ahead of World Cup

Former Portsmouth, Everton, Blackburn, and Boro forward Yakubu Aiyegbeni has offered to train the U-20 strikers as they continue to shape up for the 2019 FIFA u-20 World Cup in Poland which kicks off in three weeks time.

According to reports, Aiygegbeni extended his stay at the team’s Ingolstadt camp in Germany to see how he can work on the attackers finishing.

No doubt, his decision to offer his expertise would be a welcome development to the team’s coaching crew.

Recalled that head coach, Paul Aigbogun had identified scoring as one of the team’s weaknesses following its 2-1 loss to Saudi Arabia in a friendly last Sunday in Austria.

Nigeria has been drawn against Qatar, USA, and Ukraine in the group stage which begins on May 23 to end on June 15 in Liverpool.
