Following Zimbabwe’s 0-0 result against Super Eagles over the weekend, The Zimbabwe national team manager, Sunday Chidzambwa has announced his squad for the 2019 African Cup of Nations in Egypt between 21 June and 19 July.
Zimbabwe who will be making their 4th appearance at the AFCON has a stern test against Egypt at the opening game of the tournament on 21st June at Cairo Stadium.
Sunday Chidzambwa has kept faith with the players that led the team through their journey at the qualifiers.
Chidzambwa’s chosen squad for the tournament consists of:

Midfielders: Danny Phiri (Golden Arrows), Marshall Munetsi (Orlando Pirates), Marvelous Nakamba (Club Brugge), Tafadzwa Kutinyu (Azam), Ovidy Karuru (AmaZulu), Khama Billiat (Kaizer Chiefs), Kudakwashe Mahachi (Orlando Pirates), Talent Chawapihwa (AmaZulu), Thabani Kamusoko (Young Africans).
