Kenyan referee Omweno to officiate Nigeria vs Seychelles game in Victoria

CAF has appointed Kenyan referee, David Omweno to officiate the Super Eagles clash against Seychelles at the Stade Linte on Saturday in Victoria.

The 34-year-old  Omweno will have Gilbert Cheruiyot as his first Assistant Referee (AR1) while Uganda’s Mark Ssonko will act as Assistant Referee (AR2).

Omweno was once accused of ruling out a legitimate goal scored by Libya in their 1-0 loss to Tunisia in November 2016.
