Adegbenro’s Strike Partner sentenced to 50-day Jail Term

Samuel Adegbenro’s Rosenborg BK teammate, Nicklas Bendtner has been sentenced to 50 days in jail for assaulting a taxi driver, the City Court of Copenhagen said on Friday.

Bendtner, 30,  was sentenced at a hearing in the Danish capital, but may not start serving his term immediately.

The Danish international shares the pitch alongside Nigeria duo Samuel Adegbenro and Igoh Ogbu, the latter forming a lethal partnership with the former Arsenal man.

Meanwhile, Bendtner’ s Lawyers confirmed they will appeal the sentence, which will not affect his future with current side Rosenborg, the club told Danish media channel TV2.
