Sarri not sure about Moses’ future at Chelsea

Chelsea manager Mauricio Sarri has admitted that former Super Eagles winger Victor Moses‘s future at Chelsea is uncertain, following his revelations that the player characteristics doesn’t suit his style of play.

Moses was prominent in the Chelsea team for the past two seasons under former manager Antonio Conte due to his five man defensive style of play, but player has seen his chances for first team action evaporated following change of Tactics under Sarri who favored four at the back .

While reports has linked the former Crystal Palace winger and fellow fringe player Dani Drinkwater with January exit from the Club, Sarri insists both players lacks what it takes to play his Sarri-Ball‘ style of football.

“Moses is more suitable for playing wing back than like a winger or a full back, I think. I don’t know [if they have a future].

They have to improve but their characteristics are a little bit different.”

I think the situation is that Drinkwater for me is not suitable for amidfield with two other midfielders. I told him two months ago what I think,” Sarri told reporters.

Moses, 27, retired from the Super Eagles after the World Cup in Russia, and said he want to concentrate on his Club career and his young family.
