Following his side’s loss to Senegal in the WAFU U-20 tournament, Head coach Paul Aigbogun has stated that his team will continue to improve and get better.
Aigbogun whose side have had an unbeaten run in competitive matches since the inception of the current Flying Eagles team said they have learned few lessons and that the tournament was more a platform to see the team well and look for ways and where to improve in the team and not just the result alone.

Senegal dominated play in the first half but were unable to find a way past the Flying Eagles defense led by the skipper of Ikouewen Udoh.
The Flying Eagles fought hard to find the equalizer but were unable to find a way past Senegal goalkeeper, Dialy Ndiaye.
