Katsina United gaffer, Abdullahi Biffo has made a very bold declaration that the immediate target of his team is to maintain its NPFL status and not to win the league.
Biffo who returned fully to take charge of the team after the agony of being kidnapped told brila.net that the abridged format of the present season has made it even more difficult for teams, hence the need to ensure survival through a top six finish.
“Our target is not to win the league but to sustain our NPFL status. If you lose a game in this abridged league you are surely in danger of going down and not recovering again that is why I am happy with the 3-1 win we had over Niger Tornadoes”, Biffo concluded.
