Super Eagles goalkeeper coach Aloy Agu has listed the criteria for picking goalkeepers for the team and expresses delight that five of the goal tenders are ticking all the right boxes.
Aloy told Cornerstonenewsng.comthat the players had to play regularly at the clubs and keep a spartan form to get a look from the national team selectors.
The Coach said it was a great development that Francis (Uzoho), Ezenwa, Akpeyi, Afelokhai and Alampasu are doing well with their respective teams.
Recently, Uzoho moved to Cypriot side Anorthosis, Ezenwa joined NPFL club Katsina and Akpeyi got a huge move leaving Chippa United for Kaizer Chiefs in the PSL.
However, Dele Alampasu, although he’s been recalled to Feirense’s first team, has only played one game since the turn of the year.
