The Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Usman Alkali Baba,has directed Commissioner of Police, Osun State Command , CP Olaleye Faleye, to investigate the alleged assault on woman Inspector Olorunsogo Bamidele by her Divisional Crime Officer ( DCO) in Ode Omu Osun State.
According to Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi,”We will await the report of the investigation from Osun State Police Command before necessary actions are taken. However we assure the general public that justice will be done in the case, to protect the core values and ethics of the NPF”
There is a viral video of a woman police Inspector, Olorunsogo Bamidele, with bruises all over her body who alleged that she was assaulted by her DCO, who stripped her and beat her up for allegedly refusing his love advances on her .
The woman who was crying,said,” I told him that I am a married woman who would not do such a thing, but he stripped me naked, beat me up in the presence of some civilians and threatened to shoot me with a gun”.
