2 cultists on revenge mission on the death of their member nabbed in Lagos

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested two suspected members of Eiye confraternity who were on a revenge mission on the death of one of their own have been arrested.
The suspects,Adeniyi Idris, 27,and Jubril Alabi, were nabbed before they would execute their plans of killing some members of their rival group, Aiye confraternity.
According to a police source at Mushin Police Station, the suspects were arrested at Mushin Bus Stop with one locally made pistol and that allegedly confessed to be members of Eiye confraternity, terrorising Abarttour ,Agege.
The officer, said that the suspect confessed further that the gun was purchased at Mushin for the purpose of revenging the death of one of their members,who was kill by Aiye members in Abarttour, Agege .
The officer continued that the arrest of the suspects saved the area of another crisis as there would have been another bloody clash between the two rival groups.
Lagos State Police Publlic Relations Officer(PPRO), SP Benjamin Hundeyin,said the suspects were arrested by a Police patrol team attached to Mushin division, adding that investigation was ongoing to arrest other members of the gang .
He warned that the police would not tolerate any form of cult activities in the state,adding that those who want to practice any kind of hoodlumism should either relocate from Lagos and its’environs or risk the wrath of the command.
