Tanzanian football team Captain and Genk forward, Mbwanna Samatha has lauded the emergence of Emmanuel Amunike as Coach of the National team.
In a chat with brila.net‘s Yinka Oyedele, the KAA Genk of Belgium forward stated that he is excited and very much looking forward to the idea of working with newly unveiled Coach.
Samatha spoke to Cornerstonenewsng.comfrom his base in Belgium that he also believes the former Golden Eaglets of Nigeria coach will help take Tanzania football to the next level.
The 47-year-old Amunike penned a two-year deal to take over from Salum Mayanga, who was sacked for poor results.
Amunike’s top target will be to attempt to get the Taifa Stars Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign back on track.
