Former Arsenal defender Semi Ajayi gets Super Eagles call-up

Former Arsenal Under-21 defender currently playing for Rotterdam United Semi Ajayi has been given a call-up into the Super Eagles squad to face Seychelles in September.

 

The Technical Adviser, Gernot Rohr at a press conference in Lagos on Friday, August 24 announced his 23-man squad for the game.

 

For the goalkeepers, Super Eagles boss has stuck with his three World Cup goalkeepers, Francis Uzoho, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Daniel Akpeyi.

 

Goalkeepers:

Daniel Akpeyi, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Francis Uzoho

Defenders: Ola Aina, William Troost-Ekong, Chidozie Awaziem, Leon Balogun, Jamiu Collins, Kenneth Omeruo, Bryan Idowu, Semiu Ajayi

Midfielders:

Wilfred Ndidi, Ogenyi Onazi, Joel Obi, John Ogu, Oghenekaro Etebo, Kelechi Nwakali

Forward

Ahmed Musa, Odion Ighalo, Simeon Nwankwo, Alex Iwobi, Henry Onyekuru, Samuel Kalu, Kelechi Iheanacho
