Chelsea Boss Sarri names Victor Moses in Europa League squad

Chelsea FC Manager Maurizio Sarri has included former Nigerian International Victor Moses in the Blues’ squad for the UEFA Europa League.

 

The former Champions submitted their List A containing the names and jersey numbers of 23 players that will take part in the competition.
The squad is made up of two goalkeepers, nine defenders, seven midfielders and five strikers, including former Super Eagles forward Victor Moses.

Moses has been efficient in the Europa League, with 4 goals in 6 matches during the 2012-2013 season, and helped Chelsea reach the final but was an unused substitute in the showpiece against Benfica.

With manager Maurizio Sarri expected to rotate his squad, the 27-year-old is expected to be handed playing opportunities in the Europa League.
Chelsea have been drawn with BATE Borisov, PAOK and Hungarians MOL Vidi in Group L.
