Missing AFCON was Traumatic! Adepoju believes Eagles still Haunted

Former Super Eagles midfielder Mutiu Adepoju expects that there’ll be an air of pressure and apprehension in the team as the 2019 Afcon qualifiers reaches a crucial stage.

Nigeria plays back to back in the qualifiers against group leaders, Libya, with just a point separating the teams and Adepoju believes the Eagles must feel they have a point to prove.

He told Cornerstonenewsng.comthat missing back to back editions of the competition is a setback that still haunts the team, and presented with the chance to make amends, the current squad can deliver.

The first-leg of the Libya match holds on 13 October in Uyo; three days later the sides clash in the reverse fixture in Tunisia.
