Flying Eagles skipper Udo handed late call up into Super Eagles squad for Seychelles

Enyimba International of Aba left back, Ikouwem Udo Utin has been handed a late invitation to the Super Eagles for the matches against Seychelles and Egypt.

The left back is the captain of Nigeria’s Eagles which finished in disappointing fourth position in recently concluded U-20 African Cup of Nations in Nigeria Republic.

The young defender has to win the heart of Super Eagles Technical Adviser Gernot Rohr over Paderbon of Germany left back Jamilu Collins if he’s to make his debut for the Super Eagles main team.

Meanwhile, Udoh becomes the second Enyimba player to be called up by Gernot Rohr for the two matches, after centre back Valentine Ozornwafor was named in the initial 23-man list.

Nigeria will take on Seychelles and and Egypt in 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier and international friendly respectively at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba later this month.
