Former U23 Eagles Assistant coach Fatai Amoo has urged the national U23 team not to be dampened in spirit despite starting its qualifying campaign on a less than impressive note following the 2-0 loss to their Libyan counterpart yesterday.
Amoo speaking in a chat with www.brila.net described the defeat as unfortunate and believed the team would have seen the grey areas that needs to be worked on coupled with the obvious pressure on the team now to overturn the 2-0 deficit.
He thereafter added that the team he feels still has the personnel to achieve the desired result of winning and qualifying to the next qualifying stage.
