Enyimba FC Head Coach Usman Abd’Allah has tagged the side’s next two league fixtures “crucial” to their clinching a play off spot.
Currently second in group A; three points behind leaders MFM FC, the Elephants of Aba almost snatched a win in Lagos on Sunday, but now they cannot allow any more points slip, Abd’Allah told brila.net.
‘We had two matches where we only picked a point; against the teams that we are playing next (Bendel Insurance and Kwara United).
‘We lost three points in Ilorin and picked a point in Benin; so of the total of six points we only picked one.
‘So We have to make sure we get the maximum points from our next two matches, to make it seven points on the bounce, because that’s the only way we can change the table.
‘The two matches are important for us they will set the pace for our playoff bid,’ the Coach explained.
