Former NCF Chief Anosike advocates regional tourney to further develop Cricket in Nigeria

Former Vice President of the Nigeria Cricket Federation Chuma Anosike has called on board members and the Nigeria Cricket Federation to try as much as possible to explore regional Cricket competition so as to fully ensure that players are actively engaged and given more opportunity to compete before making the cut for the national team.

Anosike speaking on the strength of what is obtainable in the South East where he pilots a regional competition saying the more NCF executive members do this, the better Nigeria becomes in the game of Cricket.
“I want to encourage others to explore regional competitions to bring out talent for Nigeria just as I have done at the South East.
The more corresponding regional competitions we have in Nigeria, the better for the game and national team of Nigeria.”
