Exiled 2013 AFCON winner reveals feelings towards Super Eagles

An AFCON title in 2013 and 360 minutes at the FIFA World Cup the following year, Juwon Oshaniwa’s Super Eagles career quickly reached its peak, but the defender who has since been on international limbo says he only has “positive” thoughts towards the Eagles.

Oshaniwa returned to the NPFL for Akwa United as a free agent this season, but is much resigned to having no chance of returning to the Eagles this year.
In a chat with brila.net, the former Hearts FC left back said, ‘It’s nothing but positivity towards the Eagles, I have teammates and friends there and I can only be happy for how well their careers is turning out.’
